(NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING)

NLP stands for ‘Neuro-Linguistic Programming’ - in my opinion, it is not the most helpful name as I have found many people are concerned that if they work with an NLP Master Practitioner that they will have their brain changed, as if undergoing surgery!

NLP is a gentle but highly efficient coaching method that goes straight to the issue and there isn’t a scalpel in sight!

NLP changes the neurological language and programming.

  • ‘Neuro’ refers to the neurological processes and structure of seeing, hearing, feeling, smell and taste, which form the basic building blocks of our experience.

  • ‘Linguistic’ refers to the ways we use language, both verbal and non-verbal which represent our experience and communication with others.

  • ‘Programming’ refers to the strategies we use to organise these inner processes to produce behaviour that produces results.

NLP is a pragmatic approach to dealing with any issues one may be experiencing.  It is a theory of knowledge that addresses many levels involved in being human.  You are offered a multi-dimensional approach that helps you to identify and learn to change unhelpful habits, thoughts, feelings and beliefs for more useful ones.

NLP tools from the Wellbeing Toolbox offer skills for the development of individual excellence and practical ways of making desired changes in your own behaviour and therefore your life.

NLP is an established system of empowering beliefs and presuppositions about who we are, how we communicate and how our words alter our reality.

NLP is about self discovery, exploring & identification.  It also provides a framework for understanding and relating to the spiritual part of the human experience that reaches beyond us as individuals to our families, community and global systems.

NLP is not only about competence and excellence, it is about wisdom, vision and transformation.
